Monel Wire - 400 Series Copper Alloy Wire for Seawater Cabling and Shielding Systems is a nickel-copper alloy wire designed for long-term electrical and structural performance in aggressive marine environments. With a high nickel content (~67%) and proven resistance to salt spray, chlorides, acids, and alkalis, Monel 400 series wire is widely used in the construction of underwater cables, shielding braids, and grounding conductors.
Its non-magnetic, corrosion-proof properties make it ideal for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, flexible cable harnesses, and signal wiring in submarines, coastal installations, and naval platforms.
