Monel R405 Copper Alloy Wire - Machinable Alloy Wire for Instrumentation Terminals is a free-machining nickel-copper alloy wire designed for applications requiring superior corrosion resistance and efficient automated processing. Based on the Monel 400 composition but with added sulfur to enhance machinability, R405 is especially suitable for electrical connectors, sensor terminals, threaded components, and precision-machined parts used in marine, chemical, and energy environments.
The copper alloy format ensures improved electrical conductivity and formability while maintaining Monel's hallmark resistance to seawater, acids, alkalis, and industrial corrosives.
