Monel Wire - R405 Series Copper Alloy Wire for Valve Inserts and Pump Connectors is a free-machining nickel-copper alloy wire engineered for precision mechanical and threaded applications in corrosive industrial environments. Based on the Monel 400 chemistry, Monel R405 includes a controlled sulfur addition to improve machinability without compromising corrosion resistance.
This alloy wire is especially suitable for use in automated manufacturing of valve seats, threaded inserts, and pump connectors where tight tolerances, surface finish, and chemical durability are essential. It maintains structural integrity under high-flow, pressure, and exposure to acids, alkalis, and seawater.
