Product Description
I. Material Characteristics and Composition
CuNiSi alloy is a high-performance copper-based alloy composed primarily of copper (Cu) with additions of nickel (Ni) and silicon (Si). Its key properties include:
High Strength and Electrical Conductivity: Achieved through precipitation strengthening via nickel-silicon compounds (e.g., NiSi), offering a tensile strength of 500-750 MPa and electrical conductivity of 65-80% IACS.
Corrosion Resistance: Enhanced stability in seawater and acidic environments due to nickel content.
Wear Resistance and Stress Relaxation Resistance: Ideal for high-frequency friction or long-term load applications, such as connectors and relay contacts.
Thermal Stability: Softening temperature ≥550°C and thermal expansion coefficient compatible with ceramic substrates, suitable for high-temperature packaging.
II. Key Application Fields
Electronics Industry
Lead Frames: Used in integrated circuit packaging, balancing strength, conductivity, and thermal expansion matching.
Connector Terminals: Critical for 5G communication connectors, ensuring low signal loss and high insertion cycle durability.
Relay Contacts: High current capacity and resistance to arc erosion.
New Energy Vehicles
Battery Current Collectors: Anti-creep design for high-current-density charging/discharging.
Thermal Management Substrates: Thermal conductivity (≥200 W/m·K) meets IGBT module requirements.
High-End Equipment
Vacuum Switch Electrodes: NiSi precipitates improve wear resistance.
Aerospace Connectors: Maintain dimensional stability under extreme thermal cycling.
