Monel 400 Copper Alloy Wire - Marine-Grade Wire for Saltwater and Acidic Environments is a solid-solution nickel-copper alloy wire that offers outstanding resistance to seawater, sulfuric acid, and alkalis. With a nickel content of ~67% and excellent mechanical properties, it is widely used in marine engineering, offshore oil equipment, desalination systems, and chemical processing facilities.
The copper alloy form improves its workability and electrical conductivity while maintaining exceptional corrosion resistance. This wire is available in a wide range of diameters for use in cabling, braiding, shielding, and structural marine components.
Excellent resistance to seawater, brine, acidic, and alkaline media
High ductility and toughness across wide temperature ranges
Low corrosion rates even in rapidly flowing seawater
Non-magnetic in annealed condition, ideal for sensitive marine electronics
Available in annealed, cold-drawn, or custom temper conditions
Cathodic protection cables and marine grounding systems
Pump shafts, valve stems, and fastening components in coastal equipment
Cable shields and braiding wires for submarine and offshore installations
Acid handling lines in chlor-alkali and chemical plants
Heat exchanger tubes, condensers, and seawater filtration units
Compliant with ASTM B164 / UNS N04400 / EN 2.4360
Typical composition: Ni ~67%, Cu ~30%, Fe ≤2.5%
RoHS / ISO9001 / REACH certified production
Inspected for mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and dimensional precision
Supplied with MTC, COA, and optional third-party inspection reports
